One should never severe his connection with God. Many things could happen that might appear to be against him, many things might go wrong, but one should nevertheless follow a very rational policy that doesn't mind stepping back when necessary. One should close the door to misgivings during the prayers: That is because you do not avoid performing prayers, you do not avoid taking ablution. God does that without making it felt. The more you send your thanks to God; the more the blessings bestowed upon you increases.
