According to a report by NBC News reporter George Lewis, there are 1.3 billion Muslims in the world, and a large part of these are not Arabs. For example, 20,000 Americans convert to Islam every year. Angela, who converted from Christianity five years ago, describes how she had previously been wrongly acquainted with Islam but how when she had an opportunity to get to know it better she personally witnessed how Muslims were highly virtuous people. Another lady describes how her husband, who converted to Islam from Christianity, put no pressure on her to convert herself and that because of this moderate attitude of his she wished to become better acquainted with Islam and gradually warmed toward it, finally becoming a Muslim herself.
